Workforce Development & Re-Entry Services
UI offers work readiness and employment placement services to currently incarcerated, returning, and women residents in Massachusetts with a hyper-focus on Black women, along with racially and culturally diverse women of color. The program will include culturally conscious services to maximize the outcomes of job placements within industries that provide prevailing wages and career advancement.

DOULA SERVICES
Sister-Mama Doula Services believes that we are all sisters in humanity and seeks to provide the best relief, preparation, emotional, and physical support services during the perinatal, labor, birth, and postpartum period. Sister-Mama treats all women seeking Doula services like a sister and goes beyond the surface care. Services include but are not limited to: perinatal care, labor and birth support, postpartum care (including overnight), lactation guidance, meal preparation, light house work, and parenting classes.

Digital Equity
UI has partnered with the Massachusetts Broadband Institute of Massachusetts to implement a suite of education, outreach, and adoption of digital equity projects.

Youth Services
UI offers funding opportunities for free sports participation, educational activities, extra-curricular programs, and other youth development that incorporates compassionate services.

DEI Workshops
UI facilitates workshops designed to provoke organizational thought from the new supervisor level all the way up to Board of Directors. The curriculum is designed to have organizations examine where they stand on the DEI spectrum, the baseline for creating a plan, building, and fostering a culturally inclusive and competent team.

Small Business Assistance
The Founder of Urban Impact has been officially business consulting since 2016. Consultancy has included project management, community engagement, funding access, contract negotiations, and other administrative support.

Food Insecurity
UI partners with corporate and community based organizations to assist families in the filling the gaps of food insecurity through addressing unemployment, access to healthy food donations, and summer meal programs for youth.
Urban Impact is dedicated to prioritizing the reduction of the impact of poverty for Black, Indigenous, People Of Color in the Commonwealth. The organization offers a plethora of small business, corporate, and community opportunities. These opportunities include workforce development with re-entry services, digital equity, small business assistance, DEI workshops, and youth services.
