UI offers work readiness and employment placement services to currently incarcerated or returning women citizens with a hyper-focus on Black women, along with racially and culturally diverse women of color. The Founder of Urban Impact has been officially business consulting since 2016. Consultancy has included project management, community engagement, funding access, contract negotiations, and other administrative support.

UI facilitates workshops designed to provoke organizational thought from the new supervisor level all the way up to Board of Directors. The curriculum is designed to have organizations examine where they stand on the DEI spectrum, the baseline for creating a plan, building, and fostering a culturally inclusive and competent team.
